We share the excellent news and excitement of our customers’ victories as awards are announced throughout the year in response to proposals we have helped develop.

We are just as excited when a small business customer wins a highly competitive modest contract as when a large corporate customer is victorious in a close finish for a large new contract or a must-win recompete.

Here are some of the programs (ranging in value from $50 million to several billion) we have helped our customers win recently -- and their significance to our customer:

MVM, Inc., and a variety of federal, state, and local government agencies and commercial enterprises.
We provide ongoing proposal management, writing, and production support for a series of proposals in the field of armed and unarmed security guard services. Over a period of 16 months, we helped this customer win 17 contracts. These wins enabled MVM to increase annual revenues from $56 million to $130 million and increase the number of employees from 1,300 to 3,200.

Keane Federal Systems and the Department of State:
State’s Office of Foreign Building Operations (FBO) awarded this $54 million task order to Keane -- unseating an incumbent -- under the Millennia Lite contract. Keane will provide a complete range of software information engineering and software production services and help FBO achieve an SEI CMM Level 3 certification. This win allows Keane to leverage its track record of bringing more than 30 clients to SEI CMM Levels 3 and 4 and establishes it as a successful Millennia Lite contender.

Logicon and a Corporate Knowledge Management Solution customer:
Logicon received a multi-million dollar award from a classified source, winning an important recompete for a 5-year program. This victory enables Logicon to continue its outstanding support for this customer, stay in the forefront of knowledge management solutions development, and retain a competitive edge in COTS integration.

NCI Information Systems and the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration:
NCI selected Raytheon as its prime to bid on this IT services contract under the Millennia Program. This successful team will deliver $300 million of services over the next 10 years at multiple DOE sites. This win – the largest in NCI’s history -- positions them well to expand their business base with a new government agency customer.

Raytheon and the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory:
Raytheon ousted an incumbent to win this $100 million program for supercomputing services. With teammate Princeton University, they will operate the program on the Princeton campus during the next 5 years for the Department of Commerce. This victory ensures Raytheon a solid base in the supercomputing market segment.

PRC and Department of State Enteprise Network Management: Under its GSA FEDSIM Millennia Program contract, PRC successfully competed for this task order to build and maintain a worldwide network to support the State Department’s conduct of e-diplomacy. This 5-year, $35.5 million award allows PRC to showcase its expertise in deploying worldwide IP-based networks, critical to the success of State’s IT Strategic Plan.

PRC and the VA Best Program: Against strong competition, PRC Inc. won an award from the Veterans Administration for an omnibus IT contract. Work will include technical investigation; web-enabled, smart-card technology, Intranet architectural design; interagency information-sharing studies; and design and development of emerging systems. The VA will order all technology needs through this vehicle during the coming years, offering PRC an excellent opportunity to excel.

CSC and the WLMP Program:
Computer Sciences Corporation was the successful bidder in a tight race for the Army Wholesale Logistics Modernization Program contract, with a potential value of $600 million. With several industry partners at three locations, CSC will lead the Army’s efforts to outsource its wholesale logistics activities – including people and processes – during the next 10 years. This win increases CSC’s portfolio in logistics modernization and helps position it for additional similar work with other government agencies.

Federal Data Corporation and JPL’s Technology Applications Program (TAP)
. Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a federally funded research and development center operated by the California Institute of Technology for NASA, has just re-awarded the TAP contract to FDC’s Pasadena office. During this 4-year program (with five 1-year renewable options), FDC will provide JPL with a range of IT services, all in support of JPL initiatives for NASA and other Federal agencies. Potentially valued at $40 to $60 million over the life of the contract, this work will strengthen FDC’s position as a premier provider of IT services in the NASA arena and on the West Coast.

PRC Inc. and the GCPR (Government Computer-Based Patient Record) Program:
PRC is implementing this DoD Health Affairs program, which promises dramatic nationwide changes in the delivery of health care, and in the process is consolidating its leadership role in this arena.

EER Systems, Inc. and ANSWER (Applications ‘n Support for Widely-Diverse End User Requirements) Contract: This contractual vehicle offers EER tremendous growth opportunities and the chance to showcase its IT solutions for any federal agency throughout all eleven GSA regions in worldwide locations.

RS Information Systems and the NASA PACE Contract: This program has enabled RSIS to grow rapidly in support of emerging technologies for an important customer and to establish a significant, high-potential presence at NASA’s Glenn Research Center.

PRC Inc. and the Seat Management GSA Task Order: By winning the first and highly significant task order under this omnibus contract, PRC is in a key position to capture a sizable share of future Seat Management task orders in this revolutionary approach of the federal government to managing its computer assets.

Artel, Inc. and the COMMITS (Commerce Information Technology Solutions) Contract: By gaining entry to this multiple-award contractual vehicle, which has a strong Department of Commerce commitment, Artel has received a significant opportunity to expand its Commerce presence and IT services.

Computer Sciences Corporation and the IRS Prime Contract: CSC emerged as the single victor in this highly competitive program. By helping the IRS reengineer the way it conducts its information technology business activities, CSC has earned the opportunity to play a critical role in streamlining IRS’s service delivery and to position itself for future opportunities.

Up to DateCapital Health Services, Inc. and the Fort Howard Veterans Outpatient Clinic Contract: This award enabled CHS, a growing national healthcare company, to establish its credentials with the Veterans Administration and to deliver services to a new population subset.

EER Systems, Inc. and the States of Georgia, Indiana, and Kentucky IT Contracts: These wins have bolstered EER’s efforts to grow its IT business and to expand its presence in the state and local government marketplace.
