Marriage Management Consultants, Inc.
We have a special connection with Marriage Management Consultants, Inc. This non-profit organization delivers programs, skills workshops, and retreats for military personnel to strengthen marriages and family life stressed by combat, wounds, or multiple deployments. WSI’s president, Barbara Lovelace, and her spouse serve on the advisory board of this unique organization, and WSI has supported its outstanding efforts since 2005.
LTC James T. Armstrong Memorial Law School Veteran’s Scholarship Fund
We also support the LTC James T. Armstrong Memorial Law School Veteran’s Scholarship Fund at the Levin College of Law, University of Florida. “James T” is Tom Armstrong, one of our original and most capable proposal managers, who died in 2010. His family established the fund to provide a scholarship to enable veterans, and specifically combat veterans, to attend law school. Although a number of programs exist to help veterans attend college, little support exists for graduate-level education. This scholarship will help equip veterans to become leaders at local, state, and national levels.
Let’s Bring ‘Em Home
Let’s Bring ‘Em Home is a home-grown support group that receives donations each fall to fly enlisted military personnel home for Christmas, allowing them to share time with family they would otherwise not be able to spend the holidays with. We love the concept of this charity and have supported it since its inception in 2001.
Fisher House Foundation
We love the mission of the Fisher House Foundation: to build and provide comfortable homes for military and veteran families to stay free of charge near military and VA medical centers while a loved one is in the hospital.
